Logistic and Safety Officer, Davao del Sur

Description

Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identifying hazards and reporting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff.
Support the development and delivery of safety training and toolbox talks.
Assist in accident/incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
Act as a Fire Marshal and First Responder in case of emergencies.
Ensure emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits are accessible and in working condition.
Participate in risk assessments and help implement corrective actions.
Encourage safety awareness and compliance through communication and example.
Work closely with the Health and Safety team to maintain regulatory compliance

Criminology Graduate or Undergraduate
Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or safety-related role is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and occupational health and safety regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
Physically fit and able to conduct inspections in all areas of the warehouse.
