A welder is responsible for joining metal components together through various welding techniques. This role is crucial in industries such as construction, manufacturing, automotive, and repair services.

Experience:

• Prior welding experience or completion of a formal welding apprenticeship is often preferred.
• Experience with different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.) is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality and precise welds.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, such as hot, noisy, or physically demanding environments.
