Dental Assistant, Davao del Sur

A Dental Assistant works closely with dentists to support patient care and ensure smooth and efficient operation of dental practices. They assist in clinical tasks, manage patient records, prepare equipment, and provide patient education.

Assisting with Procedures:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other necessary tools.
• Prepare patients for treatments by making them comfortable and explaining procedures.

Patient Care and Comfort:

• Take and process X-rays of patients teeth as required.
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment between uses.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and care advice to patients.

Administrative and Clerical Tasks:

• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and insurance paperwork.
• Update patient medical histories and maintain accurate records of treatments.
• Handle correspondence and follow up on patient care instructions.
