Construction Workers perform a variety of tasks to assist in the building and repair of structures. This may include:

Site Preparation:

* Clearing and preparing construction sites

* Digging trenches

* Leveling ground

* Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other structures

Material Handling:

* Loading and unloading building materials (e.g., lumber, bricks, concrete)

* Moving and storing materials on site

General Labor:

* Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers)

* Mixing concrete

* Operating power tools (with proper training and supervision)

Safety:
