Forklift Driver, Davao del Sur

Job Summary:

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials within a warehouse or production facility. This role requires a high level of safety awareness and attention to detail.

Material Handling:

* Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and other vehicles.

* Move materials between different areas of the warehouse or production floor.

* Stack and store materials in designated locations.

* Retrieve materials from storage locations as needed.

* Ensure proper storage and handling of materials to prevent damage.

Forklift Operation:

* Safely operate a forklift in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies.

* Perform daily pre-operational and post-operational inspections of the forklift.

* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Inventory Control:

* Assist with inventory control and tracking as needed.

* Maintain accurate records of materials handled.

Safety:

* Adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations.

* Wear appropriate safety gear (e.g., safety shoes, hard hat, safety glasses).

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Other Duties:

* Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as assigned.

* May be required to perform general warehouse duties such as cleaning and organizing.
