Barista, Ilocos Norte

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a deep appreciation for high-quality coffee. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of espresso-based beverages, interacting with customers, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the coffee shop.

Responsibilities:

Coffee Preparation:

• Prepare a wide range of espresso-based beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, macchiatos, etc., with precision and speed.
• Steam milk to the correct temperature and texture for optimal flavor.
• Grind and dose coffee beans according to established standards.
• Maintain proper espresso machine maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Prepare and serve tea, hot chocolate, and other non-coffee beverages.

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Build relationships with regular customers and learn their preferences.
• Answer customer questions about coffee and menu items.
• Take orders accurately and process payments efficiently.
• Upsell menu items and recommend drink pairings.

Operational Duties:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the espresso bar, coffee grinder, and surrounding areas.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with light food preparation, such as pastries and sandwiches, if applicable.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
