The Utility Worker is responsible for performing a variety of general labor and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

General Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean restrooms and breakrooms.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Wash windows and walls.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas.

Groundskeeping:

• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and remove weeds.
• Rake leaves and remove snow.
• Maintain landscaping features, such as flower beds and trees.

Minor Repairs and Maintenance:

• Perform minor repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and unclogging drains.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down for events.

Other Duties as Assigned:

• Assist other maintenance staff with various tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
