Cashier

A Cashier handles transactions, provides excellent customer service, and ensures accuracy in processing payments in a retail or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with inquiries.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed.
• Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low-stock items.
• Handle customer complaints or refer them to the supervisor when necessary.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer interactions.
