A Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact between a company and its customers. The role focuses on helping customers, resolving issues, answering questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Provide information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Process orders, returns, refunds, or account updates.
- Document customer interactions in company systems.
- High school diploma OC/ k-12 Graduate/ College Graduate or Undergraduate (many employers require this at minimum).
- Previous customer service experience is often preferred but not always required.
Good communication skills are often more important than having perfect grammar or an accent.
You should be able to:
- Understand customer questions.
- Explain information clearly.
- Follow instructions and company procedures.
- Remain polite and professional.
