Senior Accounting Manager

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager Accounting to oversee and manage the companys overall accounting operations and financial activities. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting processes to support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will lead the Accounting Team covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Tax & Compliance, and Inventory & Fixed Assets.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the full accounting cycle including AP, AR, General Ledger, Payroll, Billing, and Collections
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Prepare and analyze financial reports such as:
• Variance Analysis
• Budget vs. Actual Reports
• Financial Ratio Analysis
• Monitor monthly bank reconciliations and financial closing processes
• Ensure complete and timely submission of financial reports

Compliance & Internal Controls

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Safeguard company assets through effective financial controls
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings
• Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies

Cash Flow & Operational Oversight:

• Review and validate payments to suppliers, consultants, and other payees
• Ensure accuracy of payroll and commission computations
• Oversee accounting operations across:
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Tax & Compliance
• Inventory & Fixed Assets
• General Accounting

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting Team
• Conduct coaching, performance management, and skills development activities
• Promote accountability, discipline, and company core values
• Coordinate closely with department heads and management teams

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in accounting or finance
• Strong background in financial reporting, taxation, audit, and internal controls
• Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
