Payment Central Representative

Customer Interfacing.  Takes charge in processing of orders (book orders, publishing, marketing and production packages/services) and signing up of ALC subscriptions.


A day in the life of a Payment Central Representative includes . . .

  • Handles all customer calls in accordance to established procedures
  • Follows established call flow for internal and external customers
  • Validates order details and payments in accordance to standard operating procedures     
  • Takes charge in enrolling customers to Author Learning Center according to established procedures  
  • Get authors agreement to all applicable disclosures prior to processing of orders 
  • Strictly comply to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) 
  • Use Secure Pause functionality when getting card information/details
  • Enters all card details or information in the payment portal (card information/details should not be saved, forwarded or written, strictly no pen and paper policy)
  • Attends to email concerns in accordance to established procedures  
  • Updates trackers/files/reports as required


This job is perfect for you if you have . . . 

  • A bachelors degree preferred, or an associate degree with relevant work experience
  • 12 years of customer service experience; payment processing experience/financial account is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong analytical thinking, comprehension, customer service, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in using computers and standard office equipment, including keyboards, monitors, and phone systems
  • Tolerance for low physical mobility, i.e., sitting at a desk for extended periods
  • Willingness and ability to work onsite (IT Park, Cebu City) full-time and on a graveyard shift
