Events Specialist, Cebu

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Event Planning & Strategy: Develop and manage the annual events calendar, create innovative event concepts, and propose strategies aligned with business goals.

2) Budget & Financial Management: Prepare and manage event budgets, ensure cost control, process financial transactions, and provide accurate financial reporting.

3) Venue & Logistics Coordination: Secure venues, oversee event logistics, and manage technical, safety, and compliance requirements.

4) Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Manage vendor relationships, arrange permits and security, and coordinate with talents/KOLs/Ambassadors, speakers, VIPs, and key stakeholders.

5) Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing for event promotions, materials, and campaigns to drive audience engagement.

6) Event Execution: Ensure seamless on-site event execution, brand compliance, and handle real-time issue resolution.

7) Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event reporting, measure ROI and attendee feedback, and recommend improvements for future events.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Bachelors degree in Marketing, Events Management, Advertising, Communications or any related field.

2) At least 5-8 years of work experience as an event coordinator or project/production assistant or similar role

3) Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in stressful situations

4) Ability to source, negotiate with, and manage vendors effectively

5) Proven events management skills

6) Highly organised, efficient and a problem solver

7) Strong communication & negotiation skills and excellent English (written & spoken), with a clear, persuasive writing/ speaking style

8) Excellent time and task management skills

9) The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to deadlines

10) A bright and pleasant disposition, with a good attitude and self-motivated

11) Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as necessary
