Role: Intermediate Tax Accountant AU

Work Arrangement: Work from Office

Location: Cebu

Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Description:

• Assists with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed
• Prepares management accounts
• Helps identify accounting issues
• Applies basic Australian tax compliance procedures 
• Assists with Australian tax planning for clients 
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts 
• Completes requisite regulatory forms
• Complies with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements. 

Qualification and requirements:

• Education Requirements: 
• Essential
• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major 
• Desirable 
• Commencement of CPA or equivalent 
• Demonstrated Experience & Attributes:
• Essential
• 2-3 years in a similar role 
• Preferable experience with Xero 
• Strong communication skills  
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
