Quantity Surveyor, Cebu

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

      Responsible for pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including preparation of cost estimates, procurement and tendering preparation of cost estimates.

      Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

      Responsible for the contracts management of existing contracts for duration, expiry dates of bonds and insurances, payment terms.

      Responsible for the final payment assessment from the contractors, cashflow forecast, final accounts and DLP & warranty start and finish base on scope of works of the contractors.

      Scrutinizing construction and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

      Attend design coordination meetings and participate in the review of plans, design, and specifications.

      Preparing reports, analysis, contract evaluation, budget projection, risk assessment and projection of the things needed to avoid in the construction phase.

      Prepare and develop budgetary cost estimate on projects for construction.

      Perform evaluation process of bid proposals for new Projects-bidding.

      Provide assessment of change orders Proposals of on-going Projects.

      Attend pre-bid meetings, clarificatory meetings and assist in the recommendation of award.

      Liaise and coordinate with Engineering Site - Project Managers.

      Assist in developing, establishing, and maintaining a Cost Database.

QUALIFICATIONS:

      Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

      At least three (3) years of solid experience in the same field from a property developer, real estate, contractor. (preferably with site experience)

      Excellent skills, Autocad QS Commands, Microsoft Software, PRISM, Vector Snape.

      Good attention to detail and accuracy

      Methodical and accurate documentation

      Good verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills

      Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.

      Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

      Sound knowledge of construction.

      Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

      Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

      A valid driver's license.
