Bartender / Dessert Maker

Position Summary

• The Bartender/Dessert Maker is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages and desserts according to company standards and customer preferences. The role combines mixology skills with dessert preparation to ensure quality, consistency, and excellent service.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Bartender:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Mix drinks following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory of liquors, mixers, and bar supplies; request replenishment when needed.
• Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Interact with guests courteously, recommend drinks, and provide excellent service.

As Dessert Maker:

• Prepare and present desserts such as cakes, pastries, ice cream, shakes, or specialty sweets according to company recipes.
• Decorate and garnish desserts attractively before serving.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
• Monitor dessert inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dessert preparation area.
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

Other Tasks:

• Support other staff during peak hours or special events.

Qualifications:

• At least Senior High School graduate or College Level.
• With experience as a bartender, barista, or dessert maker is an advantage.
• Knowledge of drink mixing techniques and dessert preparation.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and can work under minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
• Neat appearance and proper grooming required.
