Description

License: Valid Professional Drivers License with appropriate restriction codes (typically 1, 2, 3 or codes allowing driving of light-to-heavy trucks).
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in driving Forward trucks, 6-wheelers, or 10-wheelers.
Skills: Proficiency in, navigation, basic truck troubleshooting, and route planning.
Physical Strength: Ability to sit for long periods and handle the physical demands of loading/unloading (lifting, pushing).

Responsibilities

Driving & Operations: Safely operate Forward trucks, Canters, or similar vehicles in various traffic and weather conditions.
Cargo Handling: Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (BLOWBAGETS: Battery, Lights, Oil, Water, Brakes, Air, Gas, Engine, Tire, Self) to ensure vehicle roadworthiness.
Logistics & Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs,, mileage records, fuel consumption reports, and cargo manifests.
Route Planning: Utilize GPS and traffic reports to determine the most efficient routes and ensure on-time delivery.
Compliance: Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Customer Service: Interact with clients or warehouse staff during pickups and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
