Position: Finance Manager (Cebu)

Company Industry: Education and Training

Work Location: Cebu City

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Regular Day Shift)

Salary Range: Php 50,000 Php 80,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)

Work Set-up: Onsite / Office-based

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage but not required

At least 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or similar leadership role

With knowledge of BIR compliance (VAT, Withholding Tax, Income Tax, and related filings)

Experience in handling audits and government reportorial requirements

Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Can start as soon as possible

Willing to work onsite in Cebu City

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure full compliance with all BIR regulations, including accurate and timely filing of tax returns (VAT, WHT, ITR, Annual Reports, etc.)

Prepare, review, and maintain supporting schedules, inventory records, and statutory documentation

Oversee and manage all PEZA reporting requirements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual submissions

Develop and monitor PEZA performance reports, incentive documentation, and compliance timelines

Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records

Supervise accounting staff, ensuring proper workflow, accuracy, and deadline compliance

Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls and reporting efficiency
