Position: HR Specialist - Compensation and Benefits
Job Summary:
The HR Specialist for Compensation and Benefits is responsible for managing and analyzing employee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. This role serves as the main point of contact for matters related to salary movements, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance, while supporting broader HR functions such as employee records management and timekeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and analyze compensation structures and benefit plans to ensure alignment with company standards and market competitiveness.
- Prepare and issue movement letters including salary adjustments, transfers, and promotions.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related inputs, including timekeeping data.
- Maintain compliance with government-mandated benefits and statutory reports (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Monitor and ensure adherence to DOLE labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and salary movements.
- Maintain and update employee records in coordination with HRIS or manual databases.
- Support audits and reporting requirements related to payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely implementation of HR policies and compensation changes.
- Assist in the continuous review and improvement of compensation and benefits procedures.
