Responsible for managing the printing process, overseeing the operation and maintenance of printing equipment, ensuring the quality and accuracy of printed materials by collaborating with clients or internal teams to understand their printing needs, selecting appropriate printing methods, and delivering high-quality printed products within deadlines; tasks may include operating printing machines, troubleshooting technical issues, color calibration, and monitoring production workflow to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.

Key responsibilities of a printing specialist may include:

• Receiving and processing print orders: Accepting print requests, clarifying specifications, and preparing files for printing.
• Operating printing equipment: Running various digital and offset printing machines, including large format printers, depending on the printing environment.
• Quality control: Performing quality checks on printed materials to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
• Pre-press preparation: Preparing print-ready files by adjusting images, fonts, and layouts using design software like Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
