Kitchen Assistant, Cebu

A Kitchen Assistant provides support to the kitchen team by performing a variety of tasks to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and safely. This role involves food preparation, cleaning, organizing supplies, and assisting chefs and kitchen staff in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist with chopping, peeling, and preparing ingredients for meals, under the guidance of the chef or kitchen manager.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are clean, sanitized, and organized, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Dishwashing: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, ensuring they are properly sanitized and stored.
• Stocking and Organizing: Help with receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and keeping the kitchen organized.
• Support During Service: Assist with plating, portioning, and preparing food for service, ensuring timely delivery.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all food safety standards and procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste properly and assist with recycling procedures.
