A delivery driver's job is to transport goods from a distribution center to customers. They are responsible for ensuring that the goods are delivered safely, on time, and in good condition. Delivery drivers also provide customer service and maintain accurate delivery records.
Responsibilities
Load and unload: Load and unload packages and goods from the delivery vehicle
Deliver: Deliver packages and goods to customers in a timely and professional manner
Follow schedules: Follow delivery schedules and routes
Verify orders: Verify customer orders and invoices to ensure accuracy
Provide customer service: Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints
Maintain records: Maintain accurate delivery records and reports
Adhere to regulations: Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
Inspect vehicle: Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
