Description
  • Responsible for the implementation and completion of all work items related to housing construction, including billings (e.g., extra depth, windows) in accordance with approved plans, specifications, target schedules, allocated budgets, and acceptable quality standards.
  • Initiates requests and provides advice on concerns or other matters related to housing construction that require the consent or recommendations of the acting construction head.
  • Prepares quality estimates for specific work items, particularly for additional works or change orders under their assigned jurisdiction.
  • Conducts actual inspections and evaluations of housing contractors' progress billings and final billings for ongoing and completed work items.
  • Ensures proper housekeeping and safety measures are maintained for all ongoing housing construction projects and completed projects under their jurisdiction.
  • Coordinates with other departments under the construction division to ensure proper interfacing and alignment of activities.
  • Supervises assigned subordinates effectively to ensure productivity and compliance with project standards.
  • Ensures all concerns and defects requiring rectification in housing construction areas are properly documented, addressed, and resolved before scheduled inspections.
  • Advises the construction team and head on all documentation requirements necessary prior to the commencement of a housing construction batch.
  • Initiates coordination with property management regarding the inspection and punch listing of completed housing units with approved notices for take-out.
  • Handles other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the construction head from time to time.
