Accounting Specialist, Valenzuela

An Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing and supporting the companys daily accounting and financial transactions. The role ensures accurate recording of financial data, timely processing of reports, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting records
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist in bank reconciliation and monthly financial reporting
• Prepare payroll-related computations and documentation if needed
• Maintain and update accounting databases, ledgers, and filing systems
• Assist in budget monitoring and expense tracking
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients regarding billing and payments
• Support external audits and preparation of financial documents

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
• At least 13 years of accounting or finance-related experience (preferred)
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or accounting software
• Detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and government compliance
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
