  4. Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
  5. Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
  6. Selects appropriate machines and settings for a given task.
  7. Plan a proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
  8. Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
  9. Maintains inventory of completed products.
  10. Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.
  11. Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
  12. Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
  13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
