Description
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist AR who will handle billing, collections, and monitoring of client payments for our construction projects. The role ensures accurate invoicing, timely follow-ups, and proper recording of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare progress billings, milestone billings, and final invoices
- Coordinate with Project Engineers/Managers for accomplishment updates
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding client payments
- Record payments and reconcile discrepancies
- Prepare Statements of Account (SOA) and collection reports
- Ensure compliance with VAT, EWT, and other tax requirements
- Maintain complete AR documentation
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
- 13 years accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
- Knowledgeable in progress billing, retention, and project documentation
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
