Accounting Supervisor, Valenzuela

Description

Process accounts payable and receivable following company and industry procedures
Monitor and record project costs, materials, subcontractor billing, and progress billings
Assist in preparing BIR forms (e.g., 2307, 2316, 2550M/Q, 1601C, 1702), and ensure correct and timely filing
Handle withholding taxes, VAT computations, and compliance with Philippine tax laws
Reconcile bank statements, supplier ledgers, and petty cash
Prepare monthly financial reports, cost summaries, and budget tracking for construction projects
Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery receipts, job orders, and other project-related documents
Assist in month-end and year-end closing
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and suppliers for project accounting requirements
Support auditors during internal and external audits

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience (construction industry experience is a plus)
Familiar with Philippine taxation, BIR processes, and government compliance
Knowledge in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Philippine ERP systems is an advantage
Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial sheets)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and ability to work with project teams
