Job Requirements

At least High School or Vocational Graduate
TESDA NC II/III Certification is an advantage
Proven experience as a Rigger and Team Leader in construction, powerline, telecom, or related projects
Knowledgeable in rigging procedures, lifting operations, and safety standards
Familiar with proper use of rigging tools and equipment
Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings and work instructions
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Can work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Physically fit and willing to work on-site and at heights

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead riggers and helpers during lifting, hoisting, transfer, and installation operations.
Plan and coordinate daily rigging activities based on project requirements and schedules.
Ensure proper use, inspection, and maintenance of rigging tools, lifting equipment, slings, chains, shackles, and other accessories.
Conduct pre-operation safety inspections and toolbox meetings before work commencement.
Monitor safe lifting procedures and ensure compliance with company safety policies and government regulations.
Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Safety Officers, Warehouse Personnel, and other teams regarding lifting operations and material movement.
Ensure proper positioning, handling, and transfer of electrical equipment, solar materials, poles, transformers, panels, structures, and other heavy components.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents, damage, or operational delays.
Monitor manpower productivity and ensure work is completed efficiently and within project timelines.
Prepare reports regarding completed lifting activities, incidents, equipment issues, and manpower attendance.
Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of tools and equipment on site.
Train and guide team members on proper rigging procedures and safety practices.
Report any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or incidents immediately to Management and the Safety Officer.
Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.
