Project Manager, Makati

Description

The Project Manager is part of the Engineering Team who is responsible for the project management and organization, implementation and completion of all Seapac Philippines Inc Projects. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the project management, organization, implementation and completion of projects;
• Responsible in managing the aluminum and glass contracts in accordance with

procedures, policies and work instructions;

• Responsible in managing from medium to large projects and supported by a

project coordinator;

• Responsible in maintaining a mutually respectable relationship with clients personnel to ensure

harmonious and ongoing relations between our companies;

Other Duty Statements

Project Handover

• Meeting of Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Sales and the Construction Manager in checking the Construction Drawings with the client to establish if any change in scope of works to be implemented
• Check the project cost, scope of works, inclusions or exclusions;

Client Contact

• Coordinate with client at the site and office staff as courtesy by introducing the group and establish working relationship;

Program

• Establish and prepare a construction program to include a manpower and material delivery schedule;

Design and Testing

• Coordinate with Design Team by providing relevant information to

prepare workshop drawings, details, instructions or sizes for production and site use;

• If a laboratory test is required, coordinate with the selected laboratory for testing in accordance with the agreed program;
• Submit testing drawings for approval;
• Ensure all materials such as glass and extrusion are available to meet the agreed testing schedule;

Submittals for Approval

• Responsible in providing samples for approval as required;
• Responsible in ensuring all workshop drawings are submitted;
• Responsible in preparing takeoffs of all materials

Material Requisitions and Purchasing

• Responsible in reviewing and checking all BOM information provided by the Design Team from V6 software;
• Responsible in ordering or requesting all materials required;

Site Liaison

• Responsible in ensuring all necessary information to the site team such as workshop drawings, fabrication drawings, purchase orders, etc.;
• Responsible in establishing tools and manpower requirements;

Fabrication

• Responsible in ensuring all information is submitted to the factory in order to produce the items in accordance with the construction program;
• Responsible in preparing and issuing a fabrication program;
• Responsible in monitoring all delivered frames and installation materials to site to ensure compliance with the program;

Installation In conjunction with the Site Operation

• Responsible in coordinating with all external suppliers such as subcontractors and glass suppliers in accordance with the specification and program;
• Responsible in monitor manpower schedules;
• Responsible in monitoring the installation program;

Monitoring and Billing

• Responsible in monitoring the invoices of all subcontractors and approve them for payment in accordance with agreed payment terms;
• Responsible in inspecting the project during the installation and arrange completion of all defects to maximize the collection of all progress claims and retention amounts;
• Responsible in preparing the invoice amounts on a regular basis for submission in accordance with contract standard conditions;
• Responsible in monitoring the project cost estimate to ensure that purchases and costs are within the approved budget;
• Responsible in preparing the variation report;

Completion and Handover

• Responsible in ensuring the Certificate of Completion is signed;
• Responsible in preparing project completion report highlighting points to be improved for future projects.
• Engineering or Architecture graduate;
• At least 10 years work experience in construction preferably in aluminum and glass faade industry;
• Responsible for the project management, organization, implementation and completion of projects;
• Responsible in managing the aluminum and glass contracts in accordance with procedures, policies and work instructions; Responsible in managing from medium to large projects and supported by a project coordinator;
• Responsible in maintaining a mutually respectable relationship with clients personnel to ensure harmonious and ongoing relations between our companies;
