Description

JOB SUMMARY


Responsible for performing a variety of HR-related duties and works closely with senior HR

management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, recruitment, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.


Employee Relations:

  • Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Address employee relation issues, such as harassment, allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolution.


Benefits Administration:

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
  • Assists employees with benefits enrollment and address any questions or issues.


Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
  • Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and setting performance goals.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.


Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs.


Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS (Human Resource Information System) data.
  • Prepare and submit required compliance reports.


Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the financial industry
