Associate Lawyer, Makati

Gruba Guzman Law is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its team. The candidate will engage in the following responsibilities:

        Conduct in-depth legal research and provide well-reasoned analysis on complex legal issues;

        Prepare andreview legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence;

        Examine contracts and other legal instruments, identify risks, and recommend revisions or safeguards;

        Assist in case strategy development, including evidence gathering and case preparation for litigation;

        Perform legal due diligence for corporate transactions, agreements, and compliance matters;

        Engage with clients to assess concerns, explain legal options, and recommend appropriate courses of action;

        Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and other proceedings, as may be delegated by or in coordination with the Senior Partner;

        Act on behalf of and support the Senior Partner in handling cases, client management, and court appearances when required;

        Appear in hearings, assist in trial preparation, and support court proceedings as needed;

        Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status and key developments;

        Provide practical legal advice and support across a range of matters; and

        Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards in all client engagements.
