Data Governance Specialist, Makati

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Quality (DQ) Management

• Monitor, assess, and report on data quality metrics and issues
• Support data cleansing activities and root cause analysis
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve data quality gaps

2. Reference Data Management (RDM)

• Maintain and update reference data in alignment with governance standards
• Ensure consistency and proper usage of reference data across systems
• Support review and approval workflows for reference data changes

3. Metadata Management

• Document and maintain data definitions, data lineage, and business glossaries
• Ensure proper capture and update of metadata in designated tools/repositories
• Support alignment of technical and business metadata

4. Master Data Management (MDM)

• Assist in managing master data domains (e.g., customer, provider, product)
• Support data harmonization and deduplication initiatives
• Coordinate with stakeholders on master data updates and governance controls

5. Critical Data Elements (CDEs)

• Support identification, documentation, and monitoring of CDEs
• Ensure CDE definitions, rules, and ownership are properly maintained
• Assist in implementing controls and quality checks for CDEs

6. Data Standardization

• Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and data structures
• Support initiatives to improve data consistency across systems
• Recommend improvements aligned with data governance best practices

7. Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

• Send regular communications, updates, and reminders related to DGM activities
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and follow-ups with stakeholders
• Provide status updates and escalate issues when necessary

8. Ad Hoc DGM Support

• Perform other data governance and management-related tasks as assigned
• Support ongoing and emerging data initiatives, assessments, and projects
