Duties and Responsibilities / Scope of Work (Certified Public Accountant)

1. Reviews periodic financial statements and the accompanying journal entry vouchers (JEVs) and schedules
2. Reviews reports required by different government agencies (i.e. COA, BIR, DOF, SEC, DBM, NHMFC, GCG, CONGRESS) from time to time
3. Conducts review and analysis of financial reports and changes in the balances of accounts
4. Oversees concrete and time-bound action plans relative to the prior year (PY)s audit observations collated and submitted to COA and GCG on or before the deadline
5. Monitors the implementation and interpretation of policies, rules, and regulations in relation to the fair presentation of accounts in the financial reports
6. Monitors prompt compliance to the integrated corporate reporting system (ICRS) of GCG
7. Participates in the review of financial transactions to ensure validity and accuracy
8. Assists in the interpretation of financial data and renders accurate and reliable reports for decision-making purposes
9. Manages the QnE accounting software and financial management information system (FMIS) operations
10. Reviews adjustment/reclassification forms (ARFs) for any adjustment and correction of accounts
11. Reviews draft memoranda and rejoinders to internal audit's and COA's AOMs
12. Recommends approval of adjusting entries
13. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time
