Accounting Officer (Inventory and Payables), Makati

• Monitor the Inventory and Payable General Ledgers and its related Subsidiary Ledgers
• Prepare the Schedules for Summary of Purchases, Summary of Payables and Summary of Loans
• Monitor the Actual Count of Inventory and reconcile the differences between the Books and Actual Balances
• Conduct Site Inventory Counts on different sites of the country on a periodic basis.
• Formulate the Costing of Chemicals on a yearly basis.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Administrator in monitoring the Daily Consumption of Chemicals
• Preparation of the Yearly Inventory List for Submission to BIR and its amendments as a result of audit.
• Handle the Records and TB of SSPC
• Monitor the Chemical Movements as presented in the Daily Mud Report
• Coordinate with the Mud Engineers with regards to the actual consumption of chemicals and their movement.
• Assist in the Monthly and Yearly Closing of Books
• Assisting in audits (BIR, internal, and external audits) by providing the required documents and process walkthroughs.
• Engage in effective communication with various internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Other Accounting and Finance tasks, reconciliations, and special projects that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in dealing with inventory of test moving goods
• BS Accountancy
• A working experience or idea on costing of goods preferable
• Exposure on importations is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel (i.e. excel formulas) a plus
• Familiar with Accounting Cycle and Computerized Accounting System is a plus
