What an Operations Manager Looks Forward to Doing Well

The Operations Manager provides leadership and governance across complex project and partner-focused initiatives, ensuring end-to-end delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with organizational goals. The position oversees project portfolios, directs partner success and operations strategies, and drives enterprise-level capability building. The role ensures disciplined planning, execution, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across partner lifecycle management.

What you will do

Project & Program Management

• Ensures full project life cycle ownership from initiation to deployment for major and minor initiatives.
• Prepares estimates and detailed project plans across all phases.
• Monitors, tracks, and manages outcomes, addressing issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
• Reports on project success criteria, metrics, testing, and deployment activities.

Project Team Leadership & Coordination

• Provides on-site leadership, building and motivating project teams to meet goals and responsibilities.
• Assigns tasks and responsibilities to relevant personnel.
• Collaborates in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork and innovation.

Partner Success and Operations Strategy & Governance

• Develops enterprise partner success and operations strategies, frameworks, and standards to drive satisfaction, retention, and growth.
• Aligns partner objectives with organizational goals and ensures consistent execution across segments.
• Establishes governance structures, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for partner lifecycle management.

Partner Relationship & Engagement Management

• Oversees national relationship management for high-value and strategic partners.
• Shapes national engagement programs such as conferences, learning events, and partner forums.
• Leads initiatives to strengthen partner capability, market alignment, and business sustainability.

Performance Analytics & Portfolio Insights

• Directs analytics on partner behavior, portfolio trends, and performance drivers.
• Reviews and validates KPI dashboards, forecasts, and executive reports.
• Leads root-cause analysis and cross-functional interventions to resolve systemic issues

Escalation & Cross-Functional Resolution

• Establishes a national escalation framework for partner concerns and bottlenecks.
• Engages with executive leaders and key support units to resolve high-impact partner issues.
• Drives alignment on partner policies, workflows, and service models.

Contract Governance & Compliance

• Oversees renewal cycles of MOAs and partner agreements.
• Ensures controlled documentation, compliance tracking, and risk assessment across agreements.
• Provides executive-level recommendations on terms and policy changes.

People Leadership & Capability Building

• Leads and mentors managers and specialists in Partner Success and Operations.
• Builds organizational capability through structured coaching, workforce planning, and competency development.
• Drives a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
