The Sales Engineer acts as a trusted technical advisor in a pre-sales capacity, partnering closely with account teams and channel partners to deliver innovative IT solutions. This role involves defining and presenting solutions to address customer technology challenges, enabling partners, and supporting technical closure of deals. Responsibilities include providing high-level solution design for information security and management, conducting technical briefings and demonstrations, and maintaining expertise in market trends and competitive technologies. The Sales Engineer will also build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, respond to technical inquiries, and contribute to achieving new bookings goals while continuously learning company products and industry trends.


Minimum Required Skills include:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field with 1-2 years of related work experience in systems administration or networking
  • FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY AND WILLING TO GO UNDER TRAINING.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comesfrom an IT background working within a software organization covering IT Infrastructure, Datacenter technology


Responsibilities:

  • A Sales Engineers are pre-sales, trusted technical advisors that work in close partnership with account teams (end-user or channel).
  • 1-3 years of working experience of pre and post sales.
  • Define, analyze, and present solutions to end-user technology problems or technically enable and validate channel partners.
  • Collaborate closely with account teams to technically close deals and achieve new bookings goal, as well as Product Management to ensure our solutions align with market/customer needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and technical closure for a specific solution within assigned accounts and/or territories.
  • Maintain product/solution expertise of market trends in aligned technology including detailed understanding of the competition
  • Provide high level solution design for information security or information management.
  • Be able to present the technology assign / technical vision and offering strategy across the solution offering to all levels across the customer and partners internally and externally e.g. technical or business leads.
  • Own the delivery of technical briefings for solutions and/products for external and internal customers/partners including proof of concepts/demonstrations when required.
  • Maintaining key relationships/contacts within the Sales organization, customers and partners.
  • Help respond to customer technical inquiries and clarify product features
  • Help achieve new bookings quota.
  • Account presentations / basic demos / use cases driven solutioning.
  • Continuously learn company products, solutions, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to smaller, less complex deals
