Digital Appliance Service Specialist, Makati

A Digital Appliance Service Specialist diagnoses, repairs, and maintains electronic, smart home, and traditional appliances (TVs, washing machines, aircons, refrigerators). They troubleshoot circuit boards, perform software updates on smart devices, and provide customer support, often requiring TESDA NC II certification and 1+ year of experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose, test, and repair electronic and mechanical failures in digital appliances (inverters, smart TVs, washing machines, etc.).
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine check-ups, cleaning, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshooting & Calibration: Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, soldering tools) for circuit board and component repairs.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Customer Service: Explain technical issues to customers and provide usage advice.

Required Qualifications

• Education/Certification: TESDA NC II in Consumer Electronics Servicing, Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1-year experience as an appliance technician, junior technician, or helper.
• Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical systems/components, and proficiency with hand tools.
• Other Requirements: Valid drivers license (essential for field service); ability to work in both workshop and client sites.
