Responsibilities

Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and convert them into Purchase Orders (PO) following company procedures
Source and evaluate suppliers for eyewear frames, lenses, contact lenses, and clinic supplies
Conduct price canvassing and cost comparison to ensure competitive pricing
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with branches
Track orders and ensure on-time delivery of goods
Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, delays, and discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts
Inspect delivered items and ensure quality and completeness
Prepare reports on purchasing activities, expenses, and inventory status
Assist in vendor negotiations to achieve better pricing and terms
Coordinate with warehouse/store staff to ensure proper receiving and stocking
Perform other procurement-related tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
At least 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement, or retail operations (optical/medical retail is an advantage)
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management
Good negotiation and supplier management skills
Proficient in MS Excel and inventory systems
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
Strong communication and coordination skills
