Digital Appliance Service Technician, Makati

Job Description

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair various residential and commercial appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, smart home devices).
• Diagnostics: Diagnose issues by disassembling units and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges) to identify faulty components.
• Repair & Testing: Repair or replace defective parts (motors, thermostats) and test functionality to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Customer Service: Explain repair needs to customers, provide cost estimates, and offer advice on proper usage and maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, update databases, and manage truck stock inventory.

Job Specification (Requirements)

• Experience: 12+ years of experience in appliance repair, preferably with experience in digital, smart, or Wi-Fi-enabled home appliances.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and stand for long periods.
• Other: Valid drivers license and clean driving record
