FINANCE OFFICER

Supervises: General Accountant, Accounts Payable, Accounting Staff

Position Summary

The Finance Officer oversees the Finance Section of G2 Global, ensuring accurate books of accounts, timely financial reporting, and full regulatory compliance. Responsible for maintaining financial integrity, tax compliance, and up-to-date records (2025 onwards), with zero penalties or unresolved tax issues.

Core Responsibilities

A. Books of Accounts

• Maintain and monitor all accounting records (GL, Journal, Cash Books, Subsidiary Ledgers) Ensure daily posting, no backlog, and no unsupported entries Oversee BIR-registered books and proper filing system
• Review and approve journal entries and month-end adjustments
• Ensure monthly reconciliations (banks, VAT, taxes, intercompany)

B. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, AP Aging
• Ensure accuracy, reconciliation, and timely submission
• Provide variance analysis and alignment with tax filings

C. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with BIR requirements (VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, ARF, alphalist)
• Maintain proper registration and timely submissions of all tax reports

D. Overall Responsibility

• Safeguard financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity of the company.
