Description

Management Reporting and Analytics

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering bookings, sales, cancellations, refunds, collections, margins, supplier performance, and channel performance.
  • Develop dashboards and KPI reports for management using data from booking systems, finance systems, CRM, and online platforms.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Standardize report formats and ensure timely distribution to stakeholders.

Data Management and Accuracy

  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems and reports.
  • Reconcile data from booking engines, OTA platforms, payment gateways, banks, CRM, and accounting systems.
  • Monitor master data such as customer records, product data, supplier codes, and transaction mapping.
  • Identify data issues and implement corrective actions.


Systems Support and Process Improvement

  • Support operational systems used by reservations, sales, finance, marketing, and customer service teams.
  • Coordinate with IT teams, software vendors, and service providers for system issues, updates, and enhancements.
  • Improve manual processes through automation, templates, and better report workflows.
  • Document SOPs, reporting logic, and system processes.

Business Intelligence and Performance Monitoring

  • Track and report key metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, booking volumes, channel performance, refund levels, and customer trends.
  • Build tools and dashboards that improve visibility of business performance.
  • Support management in forecasting, planning, and performance reviews using reliable data.
  • Assist department heads in defining and monitoring KPIs.

Access, Controls, and Compliance

  • Manage user access, data permissions, and reporting controls where applicable.
  • Ensure backups, file controls, and reporting archives are maintained properly.
  • Support audit requirements related to system reports, transaction history, and data records.
  • Promote data governance and confidentiality across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Atleast 58 years of experience in MIS, reporting, data analysis, or systems support, with 23 years in a managerial or supervisory role preferred
  • Experience in travel, OTA, e-commerce, hospitality, or high-volume transaction environments is a strong advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, spreadsheets, and dashboard platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience working with databases, ERP/accounting systems, CRM platforms, or booking systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of GDS, booking engines, payment gateways, and travel-related systems is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
