IT Security Operations Manager, Makati

Job Summary:

The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for the management and operations of WSI Security Operations Center, service delivery and support to partners, vendors and business stakeholders. The role will also be responsible to evaluate, implement, on-board and develop products and services aligned with WSI Managed Security Services business. He/she will also supervise, coach and mentor other Security Analysts and Engineers in performing critical operational tasks, provide guidance in decision making and be able to handle critical issues that needs escalations and assistance. He/she will be responsible to review security architecture, design, SLA, onboarding, project implementation. Will also conduct SOC demonstration, presentation and pre-sales support to partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall operational management of Security Operations Center and Service Delivery
• Lead Managed Security Operations projects including partner/client onboarding.
• Ensure that operations will meet committed SLAs and service objectives of the partners.
• Ensure continuous relevant capabilities development (certifications and skills development) and promote top notch work quality among Operations Center Staffs
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendor and partners.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership on critical issues, investigations and projects.
• Review operations center work such as weekly, monthly reports.
• Attend to monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting.
• Attend and participate on investigation triages, projects and other operation activities as necessary.

Job Specifications:

• Graduate of any collegiate course preferably in the field of Information and Communication Technology
• Work related experience of at least five (5) years in managing security operations, monitoring, developing and implementing security solutions and technologies.
• Strong understanding or hands-on experience on incident response, forensics, malware reverse engineering including threat intelligence and other areas of security is desired.
• Strong knowledge on security technologies such as SIEM, MDR, XDR etc. is required.
• Knowledge in Network Security controls such as Next Generation Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems
• Knowledge on Service Delivery Process or relevant certification such as ITIL is an advantage.
• Base Security Certification such as SEC+, CySA+, CEH or other relevant certifications is required.
• Advance Security Certifications such as CISM/CISSP/Advance GIAC Certifications or equivalent desirable.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Computer Networking and/or Network Certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP etc.) is a plus.
• Attentive to details and meticulous with documentation, and processes.
• Excellent work ethics, hardworking with good interpersonal skills
• Driven and goal oriented.
• Willing to work On-call when necessary.
• Willing to sign a 2-year binding contract
