Role Outline:
Lumora is seeking a Marketing & Creative Lead to serve as both the strategic architect and the creative engine of our market presence. In this role, you will move the needle from brand awareness to true market authority, driving inbound interest through sophisticated lead generation, AI-augmented search strategies, and community-focused engagement. By owning the Lumora narrative and securing internal buy-in for high-impact growth investments, you will ensure we are recognized as the premier technology-enabled lending partner for brokers, banks, and sophisticated borrowers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Creative Direction & Brand Ownership
- Visual & Verbal Identity: Act as the ultimate guardian of the Lumora brand. Elevate our visual language to reflect an "institutional-grade" feel while maintaining a modern, tech-forward edge.
- Storytelling: Translate technical proprietary technology and complex credit structures into simple, persuasive narratives that resonate on LinkedIn and high-intent landing pages.
- Creative Excellence: Oversee the production of all assetsfrom high-end pitch decks and whitepapers to digital contentensuring every output meets a "best-in-class" standard.
- Strategic Lead Generation & Digital Growth
- Inbound Strategy: Design and execute a lead-gen engine focused on high-value inbound inquiries. This includes owning the LinkedIn ecosystem to drive traffic and establishing the website as a high-conversion hub.
- Search & AI Optimization (SEO/AIO): Future-proof Lumoras discoverability by optimizing content for traditional search and the emerging landscape of AI-driven search engines (Perplexity, Gemini, SearchGPT).
- Paid Media & Advertising: Lead the initial foray into targeted digital advertising (LinkedIn Ads, niche financial publications), moving from organic-only to a sophisticated paid-growth model.
- Performance Tracking: Work with the digital function to track conversion metrics, ensuring marketing spend translates into qualified deal flow and commercial opportunities.
- Commercial Strategy & Investment
- Business Case Development: Act as a commercial partner to the founders by building data-driven business cases for new marketing investments, whether for headcount, technology, or large-scale campaigns.
- Resource Orchestration: Manage external agencies and specialist freelancers, ensuring a high ROI on all outsourced creative and technical projects.
- Market Presence, Events & Community
- Authority Building: Position our founders as thought leaders through high-impact LinkedIn commentary, selective media placements, and "must-read" industry newsletters.
- Event Strategy: Curate Lumoras presence at key industry conferences. You will decide where we show up and how we stand out to maintain brand relevance in a crowded market.
- Community Building: Develop a strategy to foster a "Lumora Community" among our key broker partners, moving beyond transactions to long-term advocacy.
- People Leadership & Management
- Team Development: Manage and mentor our marketing support functions (Content, Design, Digital). Foster a culture of high performance and creative bravery.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the Marketing function and the Founding Team, aligning creative output with commercial KPIs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field. An MBA in a relevant discipline is highly desirable but not required.
- Senior-level marketing experience within financial services, private credit, real assets, or institutional finance, with a specific track record of marketing to brokers, banks, funds, or large portfolio borrowers.
- A strong strategic thinker who possesses hands-on leadership capabilities and experience building brand authority in relationship-led, trust-based markets.
- Confident operating alongside founders and senior stakeholders, with the ability to communicate effectively with sophisticated institutional audiences.
- Exposure to technology-enabled platforms or data-driven financial businesses, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An intellectually curious and outcomes-focused professional who remains pragmatic and calm under ambiguity.
- A high-standard, detail-oriented leader who is comfortable acting as the primary "owner" of Lumoras narrative and reputation.
