Accounting Supervisor, Makati

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy
• At least five (5) years of solid accounting experience, including handling tax compliance and bookkeeping
• Strong working knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and accounting standards
• Experience using accounting systems and preparing financial reports
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage deadlines
• Good communication skills and comfortable coordinating with different departments

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, general ledger monitoring, and maintenance of financial records
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and review financial reports before submission to management
• Handle and monitor tax compliance requirements, including preparation and filing of returns
• Ensure records are complete and organized for audit purposes
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies when needed
• Support the Accounting Manager in improving accounting processes and internal controls
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and assist with workload distribution
• Perform other accounting duties as required

Work Location and Schedule

• Location: Makati City
• Schedule: Monday to Saturday
• Saturday follows a skeletal schedule
• Working hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM 6:00 PM (subject to approval by the Accounting Manager)
