Accounting Specialist, Makati

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and analyze trends to advise management.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets, monitor adherence, and forecast financial performance.
• Able to learn new online software to input income, expenses, inventory, and more.
• Compliance & Taxation: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and GAAP; prepare and file tax returns.
• Account Management: Manage accounts payable (A/P) and receivable (A/R), process payroll, and reconcile bank statements.
• Auditing: Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers.
• Strategic Support: Provide financial insights for cost-saving, profit improvement, and strategic decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records in the company system (CRM / operations tools)
• Handle basic client coordination and follow-ups after sales closure
• Manage office files, inventory logs, and branch documentation
• Ensure branch compliance with company procedures and reporting requirements
• Inventory management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance often required
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with documents, spreadsheets, and basic systems
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
