Accountant, Makati

As an General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This includes monitoring accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports, and ensuring timely compliance with government regulations, in coordination with our accounting consultant agency.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and billing statements
• Monitor and update accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and file monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and related management reports
• Handle disbursements, check preparations, and reimbursements
• Assist in BIR compliance, including VAT, EWT, and other tax filings, in coordination with our accounting consultant agency
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and auditors on financial matters
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, including tax, labor, and statutory filings (like SEC, mayors permit, BIR, etc.)
• Perform other finance-related tasks as may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related course.
• Preferred than 2 years of accounting experience.
• Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in BIR regulations and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google sheet and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive financial information.
• Must be able to work independently.
