Appliance Technician, Makati

The Appliances Technician is responsible for the installation, diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of premium and luxury home appliances. The role ensures that all service activities meet brand standards, safety regulations, and customer satisfaction expectations. This position requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and experience handling high-end appliances.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of high-end home appliances.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Ensure proper calibration and configuration of appliances according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct on-site service calls at residential and commercial client locations.
• Provide technical explanations and after-service guidance to customers.
• Prepare detailed service reports, including parts replaced and corrective actions taken.
• Coordinate with Parts and Service Administration for parts ordering and inventory monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company service protocols.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.
• Attend technical training sessions provided by manufacturers to stay updated with new models and technologies.

Technician may handle brands such as:

• Sub-Zero
• Wolf
• Miele
• Gaggenau
• Bosch (Premium Series)
• Smeg
• Other imported European and US luxury appliance brands

Qualifications

• Graduate of Technical/Vocational Course in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• TESDA certification (NC II or higher) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 35 years experience as an Appliances Technician, preferably handling high-end or imported brands.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, PCB boards, and inverter technology.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• With valid drivers license (preferred for field service role).
