Position Summary:

The Merchandiser/Butcher is responsible for proper product handling, display, and inventory management, as well as meat preparation and cutting, ensuring quality, freshness, and food safety standards at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, cut, trim, and portion meat products according to company standards

Ensure proper display and merchandising of products

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and work area

Monitor product freshness, expiration dates, and inventory levels

Follow food safety, hygiene, and company policies strictly

Assist customers with product inquiries when needed

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

At least high school graduate or equivalent

With experience as a merchandiser and/or butcher is an advantage

Knowledgeable in proper meat handling and food safety practices

Physically fit and able to stand for long hours

Willing to follow company grooming and appearance standards

No visible tattoos

Can work well with a team and follow instructions
