Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will assist in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance, while maintaining accurate employee records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth in the HR field.


Job Responsibilities: Employee Relations

  • Assist in handling employee grievances, complaints, and conflict resolution.
  • Support HR in organizing engagement activities and communication programs.
  • Issue and close Attendance related case
  • Maintain records of employee relations cases and follow-up actions.
  • Manage the full offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews, clearance procedures, and final documentation.(quitclaim,and last pay release)
  • Promote HR employee engagement programs, assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Assisting in organizing events for employee engagement and training & development initiatives.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving HR concerns promptly and effectively


Payroll & Timekeeping Support & Benefits

  • Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll queries (salary, deductions, benefits).
  • Manage the releasing of payslip
  • Coordinate with HR Manager and Accounting assistant manager to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
  • Monitor attendance, leave requests, and overtime records for payroll integration in the zoho system
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation and benefits; resolve any issues that may arise in a timely manner.
  • Timekeeping, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the zoho system.
  • Assist employees in filing SSS, HDMF Loan, and all other related and deferred benefit claims..


Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure employee relations processes comply with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and HR documentation.
  • Prepare reports on attendance, employee concerns, and payroll-related issues, exit interview and attrition reports
  • Responsible for updating and providing assistance to the Hr global initiatives such as organizational pyramid and
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment to support daily operations.
  • Manage issuance and maintenance of company work tools and equipment assigned to employees.
  • Support HR in policy communication


Other Tasks

  • Provide support in additional HR functions as directed by management, ensuring responsiveness to evolving business demands.


Qualifications: Knowledge

  • Bachelors degree in psychology, human resources, or any relevant field
  • At least 1 or 2 years of experience in HR, (ER and Recruitment)
  • Experience and familiarity with standard practices (e.g., scheduling interviews, onboarding processes, offboarding process, coaching and counseling)
  • Familiar in Labor and Laws
  • Solid knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience or at least familiar in using Zoho systems (HR)

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with standard working hours.
  • May require extended hours during payroll cut-off or employee relations cases.
  • Working hours: Mondays - Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm)
