The Aircon Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air-conditioning and ventilation systems within Valero Grand Suites Hotel. This role ensures that all air-conditioning units operate efficiently to maintain guest comfort, safety, and hotel operational standards.

• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of air-conditioning units (split type, window type, and centralized systems, if applicable)
• Conduct preventive maintenance such as cleaning filters, coils, blowers, and drain lines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot aircon issues including cooling inefficiency, leaks, noise, and electrical faults
• Monitor and check refrigerant levels and system performance
• Respond promptly to aircon-related service calls and guest concerns
• Ensure proper use, handling, and storage of tools and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas after repairs or maintenance
• Prepare basic reports on completed repairs and maintenance activities
• Follow hotel engineering standards, safety procedures, and company policies
• Coordinate with supervisors and hotel staff regarding work schedules and repairs
• Perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned

• At least high school graduate; vocational or technical training in HVAC or refrigeration is an advantage
• With experience as an Aircon Technician, preferably in a hotel, commercial, or residential setting
• Knowledgeable in split-type, window-type, and basic centralized air-conditioning systems
• Familiar with basic electrical troubleshooting related to aircon units
• Physically fit and capable of lifting equipment and performing technical work
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Able to work independently and follow instructions properly
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
• Preferably residing in or near Makati City
