Core responsibilities

• Record and analyze financial data: Track daily transactions, organize financial records, and prepare financial statements like balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance: Make sure all financial records and statements comply with government regulations and accounting principles like GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Manage taxes: Calculate and prepare tax returns for both the company and individuals, and provide recommendations for future tax liabilities.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments: Perform internal audits, inspect account books, and assess financial operations to identify risks and inefficiencies.
• Provide financial advice: Analyze financial data to advise management on how to improve profits, reduce costs, and meet long-term financial goals.
• Manage accounts: Process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and manage payroll and expense tracking.
